We’ve worked with Rice General Construction on various projects over the past 10 years and wouldn’t consider using anyone else. Chuck Rice provides great advice and ideas, coordinates everything seamlessly and is committed to delivering top-notch work. He even made the great suggestion to have our floors refinished while we were on vacation, took care of everything while we were gone and we came home to gorgeous new-looking floors with no fuss! We’ve been impressed with everyone on Rice’s team, all of whom go out of their way to avoid inconveniencing us during the projects. It’s always a pleasure working with Chuck and Leslie – can’t recommend them highly enough.

Rice Construction Company has helped me with numerous renovations from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the carport. They have great ideas and have always been willing to listen to my suggestions. They come when they say they will and are polite, honest and efficient. I have never hesitated to supply a key so that they can come and go as needed. One of their greatest attributes is that they clean up after themselves! I am a satisfied repeat customer.

WOW! What a great job you did in designing and arranging all the necessary contractors for building our carport and drive-through driveway. We were out of town during the pouring of the concrete, but we had full confidence that you would do the job well, and you did! We have enjoyed them immensely, and have asked ourselves many times why we didn't do that years ago. It's so great during rainy spells to unload groceries without getting wet. Thanks.

Over the years, I have had Rice General Construction do numerous projects, repairs and improvements to our house. I have found his price estimates to be accurate, the work quality high and the work completed on a timely basis.

When one of our rental homes recently caught on fire, Rice Construction came to our assistance. I was on vacation at the time and Chuck insisted that I continue my vacation while he saw to all the details on my behalf. He worked with my tenant, the local utility providers, the insurance estimator, and kept me informed every step of the way. The renovation/repair was completed in record time with minimal loss of rental income.

Rice General Construction has provided outstanding service for us for over eight years both in Wake Forest and in Winston-Salem including the complete remodeling of a 1950 ranch home in Wake Forest in a six week period that included a new kitchen, new master bath as well as rewiring, painting, etc. Rice General Construction provided various maintenance and emergency repair service through the years. When an ice storm sent nine trees through the roof of the home they were there in record time. We consider Chuck and Leslie Rice people who have the unique ability to provide not only the capability to build a home, repair the simple to complex, suggest cost effective ways to improve a situation, but to extend the hand of friendship at the same time. Chuck's workmen know their jobs, are skilled and polite, go out of their way to assist the home owner and don't leave messes. I'm picky, a skilled workman, and as my kids says, 'tight with a dollar' - if you want it done right with care at a fair price, you won't find a better group of folks to work with than Rice General Construction. My only complaint is that we now live in Winston-Salem and miss RGC's help and genuine friendship. It was nice to know you could hand your keys to RGC and come back and find the job completed, the work place clean and shipshape and your valuables where you left them.

So many people I know have war stories about their building a house but not us. We used Rice General Construction and everything went smoothly. In fact, it was absolutely trouble free. They took care of all the details and brought our house on line on time and on budget. Their splendid spirit and efforts to go beyond the expected added to the delight in our project. Ours was a large house (almost 5,000 square feet), yet Chuck and Leslie set it on the lot perfectly. We recommend them for any building or remodeling.
